We rely on volunteers to help spread the word about WF3 Kindness

 

This is an exciting new role for a volunteer to help us spread the word about the work we are doing in the community.

What you will be doing?

• Creating posts across our social media channels about our activities, events, achievements and interests

• Develop and build a community across our regular channels and introduce us to new and upcoming platforms

• Engaging regularly with our followers and supporters using your creative flair to write content to encourage our volunteers, supporters and the public to engage with our activities

• Help us to connect with other local charities, community groups and businesses

• Responding to online enquiries

The skills you need

• An interest in our community, you don't necessarily have to live locally as work will be remote but an understanding of the geography of the area would be helpful

• Good online writing skills with attention to detail

• An understanding of social media and the different platforms

• Some previous experience of using social media in a paid or voluntary role would be amazing but not essential!

• You will need access to your own PC/Laptop/Tablet and the internet

• Able to attend our events and occasional meetings
