The Best of WF3 Awards are coming home!

The Village Hotel Leeds South is set to host the WF3 Kindness Best of WF3 Awards

WF3 Kindness is excited to confirm that the Best of WF3 Awards Ceremony will once again take place at The Village Hotel Leeds South, right in the heart of our community.

Since 2020, the Best of WF3 Awards have celebrated the remarkable individuals and organisations who go above and beyond across Tingley, Ardsley, Thorpe and the surrounding areas. What began on a snowy day in January 2021 — with our Patron, Billy Pearce, announcing the winners from his kitchen in a tuxedo and slippers — has grown into a much-loved annual celebration of community spirit.

Following that first year, the awards were hosted at Blenheim House in Batley, before finding a familiar home at The Village Hotel, where we have proudly held the ceremony for the past three consecutive years.

“We are grateful to the team at The Village Hotel for their continued support of our community awards. "Holding the ceremony there always feels like home and highlights the strong local connections at the heart of the Best of WF3 Awards.” WF3 Kindness

Our awards feature dedicated volunteers and inspiring teachers to thriving local businesses, fundraisers and young people making a difference, the awards shine a spotlight on the true spirit of our community.

Education and young people are also at the heart of the awards, with categories such as Teacher of the Year (Primary and Secondary school), Young Person of the Year, and the WF3 Young Champion Award, honouring resilience, compassion and inspiration among the next generation. Community-focused awards include the WF3 Active Community Award, WF3 Together Award, and the much-loved WF3 Champion Award, celebrating individuals and groups who truly embody the spirit of WF3 Kindness.
