In the spirit of giving and spreading kindness, we are launching our Easter Appeal for donations of Easter eggs and treats to make egg-stra sure that no child within our community misses out on a treat this Easter.
It's always been our mission to create a friendly, supportive and kind community and to look out for people across Tingley, Ardsley and Thorpe, which is why we are once again calling on businesses and individuals alike to participate in this kind appeal.
Since 2021 we have handed out more than a thousand easter eggs through our family support and Easter Programme which includes the egg-citing WF3 Kindness Easter Trail and our Find the Easter Egg competition.
Last year we were able to make an egg-stra special delivery to the residents and staff at local care home Lydgate Lodge as well as supporting families in need and of course our community Easter Trail which saw more than 300 children take part!
We are only able to run our Easter programme because of the generosity of individuals and businesses across our community, there are various ways you can get involved:

We couldn't do this without your help and support and we once again asking for donations of Easter eggs and treats so that we can make sure all local children get a choclatey treat and even more can take part in our free community events.

Support our Knit-a-Chick Appeal
Get those needles out and support our annual Knit-a-Chick Appeal which has seen hundreds of knitted chicks filled with a Creme Egg given out across our community.
This year, we're hoping to be able to sell some at local shops and venues in order to raise vital funds.
