It is with much sadness that we have to share the news that Anthony was found in the early hours of today (Friday) following intelligence that was received yesterday evening.

Our thoughts and prayers are with the whole of Anthony’s family, the search team and our volunteers, we have come to know you quite well over the last 5 days and we are heartbroken for you all that there wasn’t a better outcome.

Mike Robinson, Karen Moon and the K9-SAR team - you are special people, True heroes! You’ve invested so much time into this, sharing your knowledge and experience and of course offering your specialist equipment.

The search team have worked incredibly close to Anthonys family and have done all we could have done, we have endured many calls, messages and meetings during all hours since Tuesday.

Finally, Thank you to everyone that reached out to us offering help, the leaflet team, the searchers, those that shared our posts… thank you…. through the power of community we were able to identify a route that Anthony had taken and have been able to support his family and loved ones through the most difficult and unimaginable time.

Remember it’s ok not to be ok…

We have a page on our website with details of organisations that you can talk to any time night or day. Please remember that someone will always listen to you, won’t judge and will be your friend. Visit our website for details on where you can find help here.

WF3 Kindness stand ready to support Anthony’s family in any way we can and we will share our plans on how we can show the family that our community are thinking of them at this difficult time. Dan Frank, WF3 Kindness

Search teams from West Yorkshire Police, Mountain Rescue and K9-SAR have covered a huge amount of ground over the last 3 days with friend of WF3 Kindness Mike Robinson and his colleagues at K9-SAR working into the early hours using specialist Thermal Imaging and infrared equipment and drones.

The search teams have focussed on a few specific areas in and around the Tingley and West Ardsley areas and will continue to work together to widen the search as required.

CAN WE ASK AGAIN THAT PEOPLE ENCOURAGE OTHERS TO CHECK CCTV AND ALL RECORDING DEVICES (DASH CAMS, DOOR BELLS etc) IN AND AROUND TINGLEY FROM 9:30pm ON SUNDAY TO TRY AND IDENTIFY THE ROUTE THAT ANTHONY HAS TAKEN.

Special thanks to Kevin Mawson and the guys at Robrook Design & Print who once again showed their support to WF3 Kindness by delivering over 1000 leaflets with details of the search and a plea for people to check their CCTV/ Dash Cam/ Door Bells etc. The WF3 Kindness volunteers targeted a certain area with these leaflets and these were delivered within 3 hours of being printed! This was great community work, thanks to Kev and his team and the volunteers that put the mileage in last night. We have some areas that we still want to target and that work will continue today.

Leeds United played yesterday evening (Wednesday) and as Anthony is an avid supporter there was a focus of attention around Elland Road too. Special thanks to the club and also BBC Radio Leeds who helped spread the word of Anthony’s disappearance.
