Kelly Cawood is a qualified counsellor following the Person Centred Approach. This is a talking therapy based on providing you with a safe space to explore your thoughts and feelings, with no judgement or expectations.
Although accessing counselling can be emotionally challenging, Kelly aims to work with people to provide the opportunity to work through life events at your own pace and find your own answers. As a Person Centred therapist, Kelly will provide a non-directive approach to help find the resilience within you, by putting you in the centre and empowering you to lead the sessions. Kelly hopes that you are able to focus on your reflections in order to promote lasting change.
Kelly is currently working as a counsellor within a high school offering support to 11 – 16 year olds and has extensive experience of working with young people and their families understanding offending behaviours with a range of challenges such as bereavement, anxiety, health anxiety, depression, self harm, relationships, domestic violence, abuse, trauma.
Due to the current pandemic Kelly is aware of an increase in anxiety levels and has offered her services to people through WF3 Kindness at a reduced rate. WF3 Kindness can help support you with sessions by Kelly - please contact us if you wish to hear more about this.
Kelly offers sessions via Zoom which is currently free to use.
