Our WF3 Easter

With challenges, competitions and a few surprises along the way, we had an egg-xellent few days which was capped off with the infamous Tingley Easter Trail, where we had more than 300 children take part!

Whilst all our activities were free to take part in, they were not free to provide.. As with all WF3 Kindness initiatives we wouldn't be able to provide these without the support of members of the public, local businesses and our supporters and volunteers! A special thank you to Ardsley Windows who kindly sponsored our Easter Trail event.

Thank you to Abigail Dickinson and her team of friends and family who made the whole trail possible, they set up the trail, donated and set up the refreshments and helped set up and tidy up at the end.

Thank you to Braeside Bakes, IzWiz Robotics, Laser Sew and So and Andy Smith from A1 Mobile Disco for loaning us tables to use for all of the eggs and refreshments and for the crafts!

Thank you to our ever strong team of volunteers; Cheryl, Jessica, Reanna and Sarah and a special shout out to our volunteers kids who were amazingly behaved all day and helped us!

The winners of our competitions are shown below:

Our Social Media Hunt

Our Social Media Hunt ran from Wednesday 6th to Saturday 16th April with our chick emojis appearing on our Facebook and Instagram posts.

Well done to everyone that entered, we posted 120 chicks.

Egg Decorating Competition

We received lots of great pictures of some amazingly decorated eggs.

Well done to George Goodison for this fantastic creation of a football team of eggs complete with polystyrene ball!

An egg-xellent effort!

How many eggs?

People have been guessing how many eggs we had in the jar.

The sun was shining on our Tingley Trail and it was starting to warm up in the Kindness Tent, some of the eggs inside the jar started to feel the heat.

The winner of our guess the number of eggs competition was Sarah Mcardle who was just 39 eggs short of the winning number... 482!
